    EnergyBar 832 Mounting

A while back I switched over from an APEX jr to a APEX 2016 and when I did so I mounted my EnergyBar 832 vertically. I was recently reviewing the usersguide and noticed that the EnergyBar 832 should be mounted horizontally. So now I am wondering if this just a cosmetic thing or is there some technical reason that it is supposed to be mounted this way.

It is recommended that way because the mount isn't designed to hold it properly horizontally. It technically works, but of you bump it hard it will come off the mount.

Thank you as this is good news as I have very limited space where it is mounted and I wanted to leave the space for the fan on the end.
I do not use the mount, instead I have it mounted using industrial strength Velcro and it's not going anywhere unless I want it to.
