so i plumbed my cor20 starting with 1.25" plumbing reduced about 8-9" later to .75" as that what my tank is plumbed for. the tank has a loud(ish) hum coming from the area of the reducer. i never tried the pump out before so im not sure if this is the quiet pump sound i see written about on forums or my pump is loud due to plumbing.
tank is a 100g INT tank, i have 3 elbows and a ball valve, tops 2.5' of plumbing on the return. i have the pump running 100% and seems like very little flow is going through my sump. overflow is bean setup rated for 1000GPH.
should i just take out the section of 1.25" plumbing and make it all .75?
