Cable for aqua medic eco drift pump

Sorry if this is something that has already been answered but I found this cable on one of the reefing supply stores. I know it says for icecap but I was curious if it would work with the eco drift pumps and plugging it into the 0-10v port on the pump controller.

The manual doesn't say what kind of connector or pinout is required and I dont see a listing for a premade cable.

I didn't say it didn't work conclusively. I said the manual has zero information about what to use, so it's hard to know what would work.

From the one picture I could find that actually showed the port, it looks like it uses a barrel type connector that you would normally see on DC power supplies, so it looks like a DIY cable of some sort is probably necessary.

O ok I get what ur saying. It’s cheap enough to buy and try out. If it’s not configured right do I run the risk of frying either the power bar or the pump controller?

Do you already have the ecodrift? If so, can you plug in a headphone cord?

Shoot no lol. Here’s a picture. I’ll totally need a diy cord. I’ve never removed the little plug and assumed it was a headphone style jack

That's definately a barrel connector for sure. The only reference I was able to find mentioned a 1.3/3.45mm barrel connector but he never confirmed that it worked. I would try that size first and if it fits, touch the wires to a AA or 9V battery such that the center pin touches positive and the barrel touches negative to verify they used standard polarity before making the cable.
