    DOS vinegar program

Replaced my old peri pumps with the DOS and trying to carryover the same programming

Here is the old program code

    Fallback OFF
    OSC 000:00/000:25/059:35 Then ON
If Time 11:30 to 16:59 Then OFF
If Time 17:30 to 10:59 Then OF

    New code:

    Fallback OFF
    OSC 000:00/000:25/059:35 Then VINEGAR60
If Time 11:30 to 16:59 Then OFF
If Time 17:30 to 10:59 Then OFF

I’ve set up a profile for Vinegar 60, see picture.

The problem is, I ran the first time into a cup and measured 85ml in there, by my count, at 60ml/m I should have 25ml in the cup?

I would not bother with that kind of approach. Just use the wizard and either tell it how much you want over a 24 hour interval or tell it how much you want over two 1 hour intervals to more closely match what you had. The DOS will automatically split it into small doses and keep you from needing to do the math.

I don't think the DOS works well with OSC commands like that.

Also, if you're not getting the correct volumes, you should recalibrate the DOS with the actual solution you'll be running through it.

Hmmm...I just posted trying to do 1ml every hour for 10 hours. I wonder if I should just use wizard for 1ml, then copy and paste code and change time?

    What would that look like?

I would just set the 10 hour timespan and give it the total. By doing this, the DOS will split it into even smaller doses than 1ml, which will reduce precipitation and pH spikes.

Zombie-jumping on this thread as I do have a question about using the wizard and then being able to stop it if it does hit a certain ph threshold.

    Thanks

Just go into the advanced tab (gear icon while in the wizard) and add

If pH < X Then OFF
