Kessils need a variable speed port, which comes with a classic or apex 2016 but not an EL or JR. For an EL or JR you need a VDM module.

    Radions need a WXM

The TMC I couldn't find any posts about them. I believe those are rebranded Zetlights and Zetlights require a VDM with the advanced dimming cable that has a serial cable on one side and 1/8" stereo plug on the other.

Now to run my Radion XR30 G3 lights via my New Expensive Apex System i need to spend even more money......

The cost of the module just to link my lights up to the Apex is way too expensive and defo not worth the money when the lights are already fully controllable via wireless means.....

Surely Neptune should have built the wireless connectivity into the Unit.

The wireless is a proprietary communication protocol developed by ecotech, not something publicly accessible like wifi (Hydras can be controlled by the apex over wifi), which is why the WXM is required. The WXM is no more expensive than a reeflink, which you would need anyway without the WXM, and including it in the apex itself would cost everybody an extra $100 instead of just people with radions.

Your in the USA im in the UK the prices are 1.5x in £ than in $

    A WXM is
    £164.99p

I have a reeflink which would become obsolete if i was to purchase a WXM

Would i really benefit by using the Apex to control my Radions?

The benefit is lesser than something like an MP40, but what you would gain by selling the Reeflink and buying a WXM is stuff like this.

    - Better user interface for setting up lighting in the same place you configure everything else

    - Set up lights to automatically dim when temp gets too high.

    - Ability to change lighting based on the season table.

    - Ability to add moon phases to your night cycle

    - Ability to coordinate weather events with pumps for a cool "storm mode" to impress guests

    - Ability to make 1 button schemes that override normal schedule for things like a photography mode or a showoff the best colors of coral for guests mode.
