    WAV in 7ft, 210g tank

    Hello all,

For those of you that are running bigger tanks, specifically 7ft tanks, what is your WAV placement and how many are you running? Currently I am running 2 WAVs, one on my left pane(non-viewing) towards the back about ¾ up while the second WAV is on the rightpane (viewing) about ½ way up towards the front. I feel as though I’m not getting good enoughflow on the sand bed AND rocks. If I lowermy right WAV any more it’ll blow sand all over the place. For those of you that are running 7ft reeftanks, do you place your WAVs on the back pane shooting at the front corners ona slight angle? Or do you run them on the back pane towards the left and rightboth aimed at the front middle on a slight angle, or something completelydifferent?

Thanks for the help in advance!

Are the two WAVs your only powerheads? If so, you might just need more flow for that size tank. Ideal flow for that size tank is between 10-20k gph and the two WAVs at 100% only get you 8k.
