    SV-1 for ATO Resevoir

I’m trying to setup my SV-1 to trigger on when lower water is triggered and run until high water is triggered.

I would also like to add a run timer that will shut it if after 10 minutes (times it takes to fill up my high tech ATO container)

Rename your switches to something meaningful in the inputs tab. Install a mechanical float as a backup in case the solenoid ever fails.

    Fallback OFF
    If lowRES OPEN Then ON
    If highRES CLOSED Then OFF
    Defer 000:10 Then ON
    Defer 000:04 Then OFF
When On > 010:00 Then OFF

    Email
    If Error SolenoidName Then ON

Thanks! Yeah once I get a better container I’ll set up a float on a break out box.

I was actually referring to a valve not a switch like this.

Okay, I’m at a loss. Copied over the programming as advised but as soon as I set to auto the Solenoid opens. Thoughts?

The other issues I have, if I trigger the Solenoid on and then go to auto it keeps running. I have to move to off and then auto to shut it off.

That is expected. Drop the high sensor under water and you will see it shut off and stay off until the low sensor is above water.

Did you keep them both closed for at least 4 seconds? There is a defer in there for filtering.

I moved the high water level sensor below the water line and left for much longer than 4 seconds. I also tried removing the defer line completely

Did you hear the solenoid click after the 4 seconds? Fusion updates every 30 seconds or so, so there can appear to be a delay when there actually isnt.

Pulled the higRES sensors above the water line and watched Fusion switch to open and 10 seconds later the Solenoid opened.

Moved the higRES sensor below the water line and I see Fusion move to close but the Solenoid doesn’t trigger to close.

That is expected. You have to open the low sensor to get it to turn back ON.
