I have 2 WAVs one is set to run inverse of the other. If I change the programming of the "master" WAV, do I have to copy back to the "slave" pump and set those programming steps to inverse again?

Not if your intent is master inverse. I personally prefer to program them independently though so tidal movements can be better simulated and there is more turbulence.

In my current tank, I actually use a WAV and a GYRE and use percent triggers using a spare varspd to trigger profiles in the gyre but this is the premise. If I had two wav pumps I would use the same principle (note gyre is less powerful) and use different control types to add turbulence (ex one pump runs Malibu while the other uses mavericks)

The goal here is to move the point of confluence around the tank in 6 hour cycles with lots of turbulence and a higher average flow during the day than at night.
