    PH Probes

Hi, I have the Apex 2016. I bought 2 new Ph probes and a Ph module. Id like to install a Calcoum reactor and need a 2nd ph probe for the reactor. My issue is after calibrating the probes I get 2 differemt readings . One at 8.05 the other 7.92. I uderstansthatbits not a hugh difference but id expect it to be cloaer. Is this normal and if so which probe should I use in the Reactor? Thanks. For any insights and thoughts on yhis.

You can use either for the reactor. Whichever one you use for the reactor should actually be calibrated with 4 and 7 instead of 7 and 10 for the best accuracy since pH isn't actually linear but the software makes a linear approximation.

Could have been bubbles or you didn't let one settle quite long enough. Could also be non-linearity error though that would typically be 0.05 error max.
