So I read a few threads, and was curious if there was a way to cut the power to a vectra pump and vortech connected to a battery backup without a wxm module. I didn't see a set solution.

Nope. Cutting power just puts them into battery backup mode. The only way is with a WXM. The WXM is better than reeflink anyway, so I would just sell your reeflink (or keep it as a backup) and use the proceeds toward a WXM.

And Note: the vectra pumps are NOT compatible with the WXM....
I know this is an old post but I’ll drop my 2 cents in anyway. I discovered this same issue when I was looking into buying a vectra pump and connecting it to a battery backup. My solution was to add a relay in between the battery and the pump. The relay is normally closed and when energized the connection is open. So if I want to run a feed cycle I turn on the relay and the battery is disconnected. If the power is out the battery works as normal.
