Disabling pH probe alert temporarily when dosing

I dose vinegar. My dosing pump is controlled via Apex. I find that a few seconds after dosing vinegar, my pH goes down a little bit, then goes back to normal after a minute or so. I'm getting alerts due to this. I would prefer not to change my pH alert thresholds. I would like know if there is a way that I can programmatically disable the pH probe alerts for a minute just after dosing.

Alternatively, perhaps there is a way I can enable my PMUP pump at the same time that I'm vinegar dosing. Dosing pump (vinegar) and PMUP (RO + Kalkwasser mix) run on different programs. I would like to keep them separate (the rules are completely different), but would be great to turn on the pmup for a few seconds while dosing vinegar to sort of neutralize the effect of vinegar.

    Thanks.

Do you have a defer in your email already? If not, try adding that and see if that alone solves the problem. If it doesn't you need to separate put your pH alarm into a virtual outlet that turns ON for low pH, turns off when the vinegar pump is on and has a longer defer.

You can do exactly as Zombie has suggested with a defer. I wanted different 'grace' periods for my alerts, so created virtual outlets for them this is what I have for my PH Low:

    Set OFF
If pH < 7.80 Then ON
    Defer 010:00 Then ON
If Output Maintenance = ON Then OFF

This means it will wait 10 mins before it turns the outlet on and I just have this line in my email outlet:

If Output PHLow = ON Then ON

Works perfectly to smooth out any potential small spikes
