    Wav pumps humming

I have just installed 2 wav pumps in my tank (on the back glass)and there is a humming sound coming from both pumps. I have turned them off one by one and they are both doing it! Even at 20%

Can any one advise how I stop the humming?

Did you keep the O-ring on the magnet?

There will be a fairly low volume hum. If it is a loud one, check the cords. They can transmit vibrations to other things and amplify the noise. You can tell if it is that by just putting you hand on the cord where it comes out of the tank. If the sound level drops, that is what is causing it.

I have three of them in my tank. I hear humming at certain times of the day based on what the program is doing at that time but it has to be quiet in the house. If my son is running around or the TV is on I don't hear them at all.
