    DOS Calibration for AWC

I'm setting up a DOS to do AWC. The DT is 6 feet above the DOS with the NSW tank 5 feet below the DOS. The OSW waste line runs about 30 feet horizontally to the drain. Does calibration need to be done using all the lines that will be used when the AWC is running?

You can calibrate with different tubing if you want.

Regarding the calibration, the pumps both run in the same direction for calibration, but if set up for an AWC and you run a pump in reverse will the calibration be accurate?

It should be but is not a guarantee. I run mine forward for AWC so the prime and calibration work correctly.

I also run my AWC with both pumps in the normal forward direction. You can use the Fusion Task wizard to set up the AWC, then just modify the resulting DOS drain interval to "Add" rather than "Remove". I did it this way simply because my OCD didn't like the arrow on the DOS head pointing one way, but the tubing set up opposite the arrow.

I like with the reverse mode APEX will show this as a negative (removal). Maybe for accuracy I will have to just deal with the two positives.

@Neptune - Add an option in the calibration as to what what mode the motors will be run in (Foward or Reverse) and then perform the calibration with the motors running in the defined mode.

The direction does not matter - the calibration done in forward rotation also applies to reverse rotation.
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.
