Getting alerts about low wattage on canister filter

I keep getting alerts that the Watts have fallen below my preset limit for my canister filter. When i review the power log the Watts are still within the tolerances i have specified and should not be getting an alert. I even dropped the lower limit down alot further and am still geting these alerts. Is this a bug in the apex system because i can clearly see the Watts have not fallen below the limit I have set. This has happened many, about 8 times over the last three days. I will get an alert and then immediatly ~1 minute later i will get another alert saying the first is cleared and it is above the limit again. Im using the eb832 on apexel.

It's probably transient drops that just don't happen long enough for them to still be present when you check. You could adjust the threshold or remove them from the input alarm and add the watts statement to your email with a longer defer (input alarms are all 10 second defer).

Thanks. Could this mean that the canister filter is going bad or is this normal to see?
So would the code look like:
    1. SET OFF
    2. Can_Filter Watts < 20
    3. Defer 001:00
    4. SET ON

It could very well indicate a problem with the canister filter. I would disassemble and clean it if you haven't already done so.

The code for a delayed wattage is

    CanLowWatts (VO)
    Set OFF
If Output Can_Filter Watts < 20 Then ON
    Defer 001:00 Then ON

    Email
    (Existing code)
If Output CanLowWatts = ON Then ON

Thanks I gave that a try! The canister is a Fx4. I also have this running through some media block containers so i dont want to take it offline for to long and have the bacteria die.

Found out that the FX4 automatically turns off for a few seconds to a minute every day to purge out any air trapped in it. That is when i get the alerts about the low wattage. So far after switching the email code I have not got an alert yet so I think it is good.
