New to Apex: Apex EL output configuration for outlet

I'm a freshwater planted guy, and I'm loving this thing so far! I have four Kessill 150's plugged into a power strip, and the power strip plugged into outlet 2. For some reason (prob that I'm a newb!), I can't get the basic timing function on the outlet to work. Here's what I've got:

    Fallback: OFF
    On Time: 14:00
    Off Time: 22:00
    Shutdown Probe: Tmp
    Shutdown Value: 81.0
    Hysteresis: 001:00

I just did all this last night, but the lights didn't cut off at 22:00. Suggestions?

Also, what in the world is Hysteresis???
    Thanks!!!

Run the Clock Task in Apex Fusion to set your timezone.

Hysteresis is factor in a process where the history is taken into account when the state of the output is evaluated. For lighting and the Apex, the Light Control Type has the provision to shut off the outlet if the temperature exceeds a configured value. The hysteresis part comes into play if that high temp shutdown happens; it prevents the outlet from turning back on for X minutes even if the temp goes back below that high temp threshold. This is needed for metal halide lights which require a cooldown period before they will refire.

You usually don’t need it with LED lighting.

Set the hysteresis value to be just a few seconds, for example 00:03.

    -or-

Change the Control Type to Advanced - this will show you the actual program used for that outlet. Then delete the If Tmp and Min Time statements you’ll see. Leave the Fallback, Set, and If Time lines as they are.
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.
