    Heartbeat Question

Is there a way do disable heartbeat if your Apex is not online? Trying to stop the notifications (which are getting less frequent as they are supposed to),
but my Apex classic got cooked during a storm and is now dead. (no worries, just ordered a new Apex, but would like to disable the heartbeat on the dead one).

I'm pretty sure you can go in and disable it when it's not connected.

    1. On the Apex List, click the disconnected Apex
    2. Click Diagnose
    3. Click the Apex menu in the upper left corner
    4. Select Heartbeat from the dropdown menu
    5. Disable Heartbeat

Thank you RussM. Worked as you explained. Heartbroken over losing my Classic, but ordered the new EL and looking forward to setting it up as soon as i get it. Will look into sending in the Classic for possible repair in order to have it as a spare. (thats the plan anyway).
