    Help with conductivity probe

    Hey all.

I am unable to keep the conductivity probe stable. I tried to recalibrate it yesterday after leaving it out and cleaned to dry.

It was running ok for few hours reading the correct correct value.

But since then it has been going up sharply from 32 to 42.

That is normal if the probe is cleaned and left to dry for an extended period without letting soak in the sump afterwards. Wait til the value settles out and recalibrate.

So the next time I recalibrate it, just dry it with paper towel?
And then proceed with the calibration process?

Yep. You want to maintain the film that forms in the pores and over the surface of the glass. A quick rinse in RODI and pat dry with a paper towel keeps this intact so the reading doesn't drift as it reforms.
