Just change the wizard from remove to add after swapping the tubing.

    god this is confusing.

so i setup my dos for awc with the tubing in the correct way, and primed and calibrated perfectly. then i wanted to run that awc task and noticed the right pump needed the tubing switched. so after reading this thread and seeing calibration is ok if tubes are switched, i switched the right pump....that is the thing to do right?

i just won't have the option to 'prime' that right pump since the tubing is now backwards?

thanks for confirming this and clearing it up!

Keep the tubing the way you had it for calibration and just change the wizard for the right pump to use add instead of remove. Then you never have to mess with swapping tubing.

Select the gear by the right pumps outlet and that will take you to the wizard.

Hey Guys great thread. I am setting up my DOS to do AWC as well. I will be placing the DOS in the basement (besides my drain and NSW Barrel) and my sump is located above on the main floor. Here is a question. In case of power failure how would i be able to break the siphon from the output line and avoid my sump being drained ?

The head on the dos itself stops flow if it isnt moving.

Not that aspect. The thing you do need to worry about is if you don't seat the tubing properly pr the tubing cracks and it develops a leak, that can drain your tank water where you have the DOS placed. If you see your salinity falling, that's one place to look.

True...hence i used the silicone tubing which snugs in perfectly...Good point on knowing how to detect based on salinity dropping....thanks bro.

    Morning everyone.

I finally get to set up my DOS for AWC. I followed Neptunes manual instructions and it went without a hitch. Except when it came to suggest using a breakout box and 2 floaters. (I apologize ahead because I am not sure if I should post this question here since I can't seem to find any answer to this)

currently my reservoir (Left DOS pump for New Water going to tank) setting is:

    Fallback OFF
    tdata 00:00:00,1,21,0,189,2,88,143,0,200,2,28,10,0
    If Sw1 CLOSED Then OFF
    If Sw2 CLOSED Then OFF

currently my reservoir (Right DOS pump for old water going out of tank) setting is:

    Fallback OFF
    tdata 00:00:00,1,5,0,189,2,88,143,0,200,2,28,10,0
    If Sw1 CLOSED Then OFF
    If Sw2 CLOSED Then OFF

Each is set to remove and add 2703.08ml of water over 24 hours (5 gallons over 7 days).

    Question 1:

Is this the correct amount in ml for 5 gallons per week? Test run appears to have not moved 5 gallon out of the 5 gallon bucket.

My Email alarm for the floaters and Break out box is set as:

    Set OFF
    If Error ATKpmup_4_1 Then ON
    If Swx4_2 CLOSED Then ON
    If Swx4_3 CLOSED Then ON
    Defer 000:30 Then ON
If Tmp > 82.0 Then ON
If Tmp < 75.0 Then ON
If Salt > 37.0 Then ON
If Salt < 32.0 Then ON
If pH > 8.40 Then ON
If pH < 7.80 Then ON
If ORP > 450 Then ON
If ORP < 200 Then ON
    If Sw1 CLOSED Then ON
    If Sw2 CLOSED Then ON

    Question 2:

How or where do I program the floaters with the Breakout Box?

    Question 3:

As you can see, I have some statements in the Left and Right DOS AWC pumps as "If Sw1 CLOSED Then OFF" & "If Sw2 CLOSED Then OFF" on both sides.
Is this the place to place these statements?

    Question 4:

Given if the reservoir floater is sitting at the bottom of the reservoir, and the waste container floater is sitting at the top of the reservoir, are the "OFF" part of the "If Sw1 CLOSED Then OFF" & "If Sw2 CLOSED Then OFF" statements correct as I have them right now as stated in the top?

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.
