Unhappy Unable to Save Apex Configuration

    Hi guys:

I've got a fairly complex Apex configuration, and I'm completely unable to save my configuration from the apex.local interface.

When I get to the Load/Save screen, and click "Save Apex Configuration", I'm taken to an authentication box. This prompt won't accept my username/password. (Nor will it accept the default of admin/1234 for user/password.). Of course, if I hit "Cancel" at that authentication screen, I get a 401 Unauthorized Error.

No combination of usernames/passwords that I try allows me to save my configuration.

I've had one Apex head unit fail on me before, and I'd like to back this one up before it happens again.

Is there anything obvious I'm missing here?

    Thanks in advance.

Worked for me on my NuVision notepad running Windows 10 using admin/1234 (I've never ever changed it). I didn't try my PC as I don't like the idea of that password being sent unencrypted.

I would try rebooting the Apex and trying again. If it lets you log in to the Apex.local page but not the Save Config page (and you're certain you didn't make any typos), then the built-in web server is probably acting up and a reboot should correct it.

@Suncrestreef: Thanks for the reboot suggestion. That small obvious fix worked.

With the admin/1234 login I was able to download the config file after a reboot.

    Code:
