    Router keeps dropping out

Hi all, I installed my Apex 2016 on Monday, originally connected to my router via wifi and since then I keep dropping connection to my router on all my connected devices resulting in needing to reboot the router. I have now wired the apex using powerline connections and its still happening.
This dropout was not happening before installing the Apex.
Anyone else had this issue, if so was there a cure.
I am UK based and with Sky broadband with the supplied Sky router.

I have turned off Wifi on the Apex and disconnected the hardwired cable so in therory the Apex is not connected to my router or the internet but, I can still access it via apex local and via Fusion, how is this possible. Could The Apex be faulty and this is what is causing my issues.

A restart is required after enabling or disabling WiFi for that change to take effect. Did you restart the Apex?
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.

Hi, no I didn’t restart the apex. I will try that and see if that helps.

Sounds to me like the router is the cause.
Does the router drop traffic when the Apex is not connected at all to it?
Does it have a history on drop outs in the logs?
Can you get another router from somewhere to test with that?

No history of dropouts before connecting Apex.
In the process of seeing if the fault occurs with Apex disconnected and also got another router to try as well.
it could just be a coincidence that the router goes faulty after connecting the Apex.
