Help EB8 not detected blinking orange

New Alex user with a second eb8 power bar.
I found my eb8 blinking orange earlier and have spent the last hour troubleshooting and I’m at a loss.
I can see and program the other modules connected to the eb8.
I’ve rebooted serveal times, I’ve unplugged everything else besides the eb8 and nothing.

Make sure all modules are up to date on firmware.

    As in the eb8?

Every other module is unplugged and it’s still just blinking orange.

Everything except the EB8. You can't update a module when its blinking.

Once they are all updated, if it still doesn't turn on, then try swapping around aquabus cables and using different ports to see if you have a bad cable or one of the ports is being finicky.

Nothing is out of date in fusion, I never asked about updating anything.

I’ve tried every port on the eb8, many cables, daisy chaining it through other modules and plugging it directly into the apex.

The eb4’s work when plugged into the same exact spot with the same exact cable.

The reason I mentioned updating is that sometimes an out of date module can create a conflict which prevents a different module from communicating.

Another thing you can try is to save your programming for whatever was connected to that EB8, delete it from the modules page while it is disconnected, give it a reboot for good measure, and then try plugging it back in. If that doesn't do the trick, you will need to work with support.

I deleted it and it’s not being detected when I plug it back in, I just submitted a ticket.
