    Par meter calibration?

    I just plugged in my PMK par meter and im using the 2016 apex. I noticed it quickly recongized it and i didnt have to do anything to start using it but does this thing need to be calibrated? I just wanna be sure because if my readings are right ive been feeding my corals really low light

    I would if you plan on changing lighting intensity as a result of low readings. Always good to double check before making any changes to your system.

    There is a good post on R2R comparing the PMK to other monitors and a PAR meter. Had a read it first I probably would have not chosen the PMK since I run LED lights. The post basically showed the PMK under reporting blue and red LED lighting.
