Email/Input Notification Q's

1. I keep getting a repetitive email notification as attached. Is there a way to determine what exactly is causing this?

What I read is one of my input ranges is too narrow. In my case, I suspect my Ph inside my CARX is the issue. But why do I sometimes get a statement that reads

"Date: 2018-10-17 10:42:08 -0500
Status: ON
Statement: If PHCaRx > 7.30 Then ON (7.31)"

But sometimes there are no specifics like my attached?

What differences are there betqeen email notifications tab, or programming via inputs?

Ok. So i added the defer and Min statement to prevet this from re-occuring.

Can someone still explain to me if there is a difference between setting up an email alert via fusion slidebar, or by setting ranges via the input. Say for the salinity probe.

Does one cancel out the other? Im about to leave town in Dec for 3.wks, trying to fig this out.

You can use one, both, or neither. They are independent.

Email has the advantage of custom delays, min time, suppressing during specific times, and being able to turn it off.

Inputs have a 10 second defer built in and are not customizable in any way.
