    Eb4 won’t reset

    Hi all,
I’m having a problem with my eb4, it’s a few years old and it controls my 3 kessils, and 3 250w mh.
Tonight, around the middle of the mh lighting schedule, all my lights went out. I pushed the reset on the eb4, but nothing happened. I unplugged the three metal halides, and pushed the reset again, and if I pushed pretty hard 1 or a couple of the kessils would flash on for a quick second.
Any ideas about what’s going on?

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you have a fault somewhere. Unplug everything and reset the fuse. Then plug in one item at a time. If anything pops the fuse, it means that the piece of equipment t you just plugged in has a fault and needs to be repaired or replaced.

Ok, I tried what you suggested. I reset the eb4 and started plugging the metal halides back in and turning them on. The first 2 fired up no problem, the third one turned on for a few seconds, then all 3 went out.
I waited about 20 minutes, and then tried to do it again without plugging in the light that made them shut off last time, but it won’t work. Nothing will turn on. I tried a fan in each of the outlets, and it won’t turn on either. There is an audible click when I switch the outlet off or on, but no power making it through.

Did you push in the EB's circuit breaker button to reset it?

Yes, I’ve pushed it several times, but I’m not sure it’s doing anything. It also seems to be sticking out farther than the button on my apex JR and the eb8.

Did you unplug the EB4 from the wall or unplug all the things plugged into it before pressing the reset fuse? Fuses don't like being reset to an inrush load like a halide.

Yup, I have unplugged it and plugged it back in with nothing attached, pushing the button several times throughout each step of the process.
