Minimum hardware to read dissolved oxygen

    Hello forum -

I have developed a remote monitoring and reporting (IoT) system that reads a variety of sensors using different signals (4-20mA, 0-5V, 0-10V, RS485, etc.)

I am looking to buy a number of Neptune PRBDO's do collect the DO data, but I cannot get the info I need from Neptune's support to tell me what signal the probe works on. I also asked them what the minimum additional hardware would be for me to access the probes signal, but I have not heard back.

Can someone give me some info on this? It looks like I have to get an Apex Jr, but I don't need any of those additional functionality - I just want the signal so I can send it on to my own server.

    Thanks,
    Hein

Ok, it looks like the PM3 reads signal from the DO probe, and then? Anyone know how to tap signal from here? Or am I barking up the wrong tree here?

They don't publish what the signal output of the DO sensor is or what the wetting voltage is if any is required. You can parse the information over xml using a Apex and PM3 module, but that parsing is a minimum of 1 min data logging intervals.

Enough time wasted trying to buy these products, got hold of Sensorex and their customer support team came back in no time with their product specs and everything else I needed. Guess Neptune systems are not for me.

The DO probe is actually made by Oxyguard and they have the specs readily available on their website.
