Slide bars not working on phone touch screen

The slide bars on the fusion dash only work once in awhile. Mostly not. Why is this?

Did you unlock the sliders? There's a button upper right (looks like "<]") if you click it it will turn orange and the arrow will point the other way ("[>") and the sliders will work.
