    Automatic Top Off Kit

My return section on my sump is only 4" by 12"

Based on the video I've seen, I can only mount the ATO between my buffle. Which means the magnet will be submerge in saltwater. What is the pro and cons if the magnet is submerge?

I know I can setup this up without the floater but this is one of the main reason why Im leaning towards buying Neptune ATO to avoid overflow.
I also saw a video that the float valve and sensor can be switch (left or right). I was wondering if the float valve can be set perpendicular to the magnet.

    Thanks

The magnet is well sealed so it shouldn't be an issue.

You can switch the orientation of the float, but it will always be parallel and can't be reconfigured perpendicular without modification.
