    Looking to replace Temperature Probe

After about 2 years, my neptune temperature probe needs to replaced. I came to that conclusion when it said that my tank was reading at 108F. I tried to recalibrate it but still insisted that my tank was over 100F.

Do these probes only last 2 years? My local LFS thinks their temp probes are not up to the level of their other products. If this is true, what temperature probe would you recommend that is compatible with the newer apex?

So overall would you recommend them or would you go for another compatible probe.

There is no other compatible probe. Only neptunes temp probe works on the apex without a significant amount of DIY and reverse engineering that I would not recommend. Neptunes probes are more than reliable enough IME.
