    Full Neptune Build

    Hi Guys
Im relatively new to the hobby but want to start u my new tank, with a solid, automated system, running the Triton Method. I am thinking about spending the ekstra cash and going fully Neptune. So here is what I come up with:

Tank: Red Sea 750 XXL (600L)
Sump: Red Sea Integrated 150L, with ATU (50% Alge fuge)
    Light: 4x AI Hydra 26HD (90W)
    Return pump: Neptune COR-20
    Power Heads: 2x Neptune WAV + 1LINK
    2x Maxspect Gyre XF250
Controller: Apex Base unit 3x probes
Energy Bar 6 (On 240V system unfortunately)
    2x IceCap controllers
    Skimmer:Reef Octopus REGAL 200INT
Auto Doser: 2x Neptune DOS units (for the 4 Triton base elements)

And here comes the sea of questions:
Will the 1LINK be enough to power for all the gear or will 2x 1Link be required?
Can the Maxspect Gyre's be powered directly from the IceCap/1LINK or is individual power supplies required
Has been thinkin about buying a converter from 240V/120V and running the EB 836 instead of EB 6, Any thoughts on that?
Any recommendations for Apex Ready Proten Skimmers, Heaters and Chillers..

If you guys got any other advice or recommendations for a fledgeling reefer, feel free to share you knowledge...

A lot of thx in advance, cant wait to hear your oppinions..

    (1) 1link is fine

They each need a power supply. They can be plugged in the wall.

Don't do it. It voids your warranty and the EB832 doesn't play nice with 50Hz.

No heater or chiller is "apex ready". They are all ON/OFF outlet control only. Any skimmer with a Varios pump is a good apex ready solution.

    Hej Zombie

Thx for the reply, very helpfull. Do you know of any chiller units with build in heaters. Would prefer having it all in one unit, but cant seem to find any on the danish market... Its all a seperate chiller and then one or two heating elements

It's better to have them separate even though that uses more outlets. The ideal scenario is to have a chiller and two or three heaters that are all completely separate. This allows the apex to give you finer temp control and better control over redundancy.
