    Mp40 help

So, I picked up a used mp40esW to use behind my rocks. The plan is to use this pump in 2 minute pulses. It has a brand new wet side.

I reset it. And connected to the apex via wxm. All good.

But my mp40 icon on fusion shows the mp40 but “battery on”.

My block has a solid green light when it’s off but when I turn it in, the block light is red and I have a flashing green light on the controller.

I have also disconnected the wxm, updates it and reattached it to the apex. No fix.

FWIW, it was doing this before even connecting to the apex.

Any advice as to what I need to do?

Flashing green means the Vortech is in “Battery Mode”. Are you sure it’s plugged in correctly? Could be a power supply issue?

Yes. I have tried various outlets throughout the house. I may be contacting eco tech tomorrow

Do you have another power supply that you can try to see if it works?

    Mp40 help

I’m no expert on EcoTech products but I think the MP40 power supply outputs 24 volts. Someone else can quickly confirm that. Check to see if you were given the wrong power supply - I have a hunch you may be using a 12v PS.

    The MP10 uses 24v 1.5A
    MP40 uses 32v 2.25A
    MP60 uses 32v 3.12A

my power supply brick (that came with the pump) is an output of 14.5V (1.6A). I think this may be a supply for a battery backup. as the label says "battery charger"

it's the wrong power supply. my mp40 will cost me $150 instead of $100.

I just googled it. the power supply that was included is indeed for the EcoTech Battery Backup unit.

going to reach out to the store now.

Oh, you have it plugged into the smaller port? Looking at the driver from the front, it's the port on the left.
