    COR resets after unrelated Alarm

While sitting next to my tank last night, My apex alarmed and mu COR reset (or just turned off then back on)

The alarm received were as follows:

    Date: 2018-11-24 12:41:58 -0500
    Status: ON
Statement: If Power EB8UNDER Off 001 Then ON

(basically I have each EB8 alarming if they lose power)

    Followed by:

    Date: 2018-11-24 12:42:11 -0500
    Status: OFF
    Statement: Set OFF

(a meaningless alarm that I am assuming means it returned to its normal state)

While the audible alarm was sounding my tank back filled into my sump and the core was ramping up (as I have it programmed to do). My other pumps in the sump are all set to shut off if my core drops below 50%. And they did (Skimmer, UV and reactor pumps)

    This is my COR20 Programming:

    Fallback Ramp_Up
    Set Ramp_Up
If Output DT_Maint = ON Then OFF

(the COR Aquabus is plugged into the base units aquabus port.

I have seen this happen at least twice before. I recently cloned my base unit so I do not think it is a base unit hardware problem.

According to my syslog it was a subsystem reset, but my FT return pump and its other devices never even hiccuped...

Before I open a ticket I figured I would start here...

The COR ramping up after a system restart is normal and expected with the programming you have.

The Status OFF / Set OFF isn’t meaningless - it tells you that a previously-active alarm condition is no longer present.

Is that If Power EB8UNDER statement the last or only If Power statement in your alarm program?

The key thing here is that the system restarted. The alarm and COR bits are directly a result of that.

well I have had a history of issues with both my base units for waking me up at odd hours in the middle f the nite telling me "Status of/Set Off" with no preceding alarm. so I don't always associate it with any preceding alarm.

On this current issue, Here is my alarm programing for the email alerts:

    Set OFF
    If LEAK_F CLOSED Then ON
    If LEAK_D CLOSED Then ON
If Power Apex Off 001 Then ON
    If DT_TMP > 85.0 Then ON
    If FTSump CLOSED Then ON
If Power EB4QUAD Off 001 Then ON
If Power EB8FT Off 001 Then ON
If Power EB8DT Off 001 Then ON
If Power EB8UNDER Off 001 Then ON
    If Calc_L OPEN Then ON
    If ALK_LO OPEN Then ON
Defer 000:30 Then ON (placed here by neptune because of random all alarms)
    If FUG_LE CLOSED Then ON

I have had restart issues in the past. In fact this very base unit was repaired for that issue. But when it restarted, EVERYTHING went out and on. In this case just the COR and the two pumps (and UV) that are programmed to shut down if the COR is below 50%.
