Temperature compensation on probes with new model Apex

I have one of the new model Apex units. In the probe setup for pH and salinity, there are options for turning on the temperature compensation, which seem to have defaulted to off. In the old apex, you only wanted to turn them on if you were using something like a PM2 and had both the temp and pH probe in the same unit. But for just the base apex (new) unit, because you do have both in the same unit, do I assume right that you want them on?

The use of TC is optional - your choice. I use it for both pH and conductivity (the latter at 2.2). The key thing is that if you have multiple temp probes, the “closest” temp probe must be in the same body of water at the pH or conductivity probe.

By “closest”, I mean the temp probe connected to the same hardware unit as the pH or conductivity probe, whether it be an Apex base, PM1, or PM2.

TC defaults to disabled rather than enabled because Neptune cannot assume that the temp probe will always be enabled and placed in the same body of water.
Please do not send me PMs with technical questions or requesting assistance - use the forums for Apex help. PM me ONLY if the matter is of a private or personal nature. Thanks.
