I thought it would be cool to mount an iPad above my tank to show me my tank's parameter's at a glance. The fusion UI isn't optimized to view from 5ft away so spent the last couple weeks making a custom app. Let me know what you folks think.

That’s awesome. I’m interested in getting the app when you release it. Better then the display module in my opinion. Very clean and like the alarm notification how it displays on the screen.

thanks, I appreciate it! In all transparency I slowed down dev a lot due to life stuff (nothing bad - just got really busy). but, I'm pretty sure im code complete at this point. I just need to get the "marketing" bits written out for the App Store and setup a simple site (apple requires a support URL)
Hopefully I can bang that all out tonight (hoping the kids allow some focus time)

Slight delay but I'll be submitting it this week. I setup a simple site, wrote the legal stuff (privacy policy) etc etc.
I think the last thing left is to do a live video demo (see my hands using an actual iPad) for apple since they need to see the app working in order to approve it since they dont have an Apex in the office to try it hands on.
Also - I added a small feature where you can optionally have the app post your params online so that they're viewable via any web browser (its opt in & the URLs are "secret"). Here's an example: https://reeftiles.com/t/03a679fb87d8...6a4a9f3b7eb312
odds are I'll go deeper down this road in the future but for now I just have to publish this thing before diving into any new rabbit holes

It started off on both but it was getting annoying developing 2 different layouts.
I made the app because I wanted a display above my tank that had giant numbers showing the parameters I cared about most. It did initially work on the iPhone too but at some point I focused solely on iPad due to the big display etc.
I’ll probably revisit the iPhone stuff at some point.
