    Heater keeps tripping the eb8

I have a finnex 800w heater and I have it on outlet 8 but it keeps tripping the energy bar even when I tried a different energy bar. I see it’s pulling 8amps when I look on apex fusion What can I do?

I would think your heater has a crack in it or it's bad man it should not be doing that

Any chance you know a way that I can verify that the heater is faulty?

If you have voltage meter you check that way put the red end in on of the outlets and the ground in the water you should see a spike on the meter with the heater plugged in then unplug the heater and test again with out and see if it still spikes

Your total amperage cannot exceed 15 amps. What else do you have on the bar?

I put it on its own energy bar which it kept tripping on the other energy bar so on its own bar it’s showing 8amps

This ^ and dont replace it with another 800W. Use multiple smaller heaters rather than a single large one and have them take turns.

im about to have the same issue. After reading more, the EB832 says to not exceed 7 amps per outlet and 15 amps per bar. The Finnex 800 Watt can draw 9 amps. This is likely your issue. Sorry for posting late to the game, I am new to the forum.
