Exclamation Heater stuck on after a slight change

    Hey guys,
I finally built my Control Cabinet and man is it beautiful. Anyways, I had to grab a PM1 Module as the Temp probe wasn't long enough. I powered it off my FMM Module and plugged the probe into the PM1. Went ahead and disabled the original temp port and enabled the new one on my dashboard.
Well now the heater is on when set in automatic mode on my dashboard even though it is above my maximum tolerances. Too add to all this, I keep getting an error when I try to enable the log for it as well.

Any help would be appreciated as I'm sure its an easy fix, but for the last 90 minutes I cant seem to figure it out

Please see below for error message.

Thanks for helping and taking the time to read this in advance and Happy Reefing!

//Error: line 2 - Valid keywords following If are Temp, pH, ORP, DO, Cond, Salt, Par, Feed, SwX, FLx, Error, Power, Sun, or Moon // If Tmp < 78 Then ON

Heater stuck on after a slight change

The original temp warning is still in the email alert outlet. Delete that line.

Or the temp probe is no longer named what is listed in that line.

    vhuand168,

I never had temp as an alert. Just double checked, the only alert in the email alert outlet is for my LDK

Your programming shows a probe named Tmp.

The probe configuration page shows a page named Temp.

Correct, I can not click on the box to enable log so I can switch that. Am I completely incorrect in going about changing the code?

If so, Please tell me how. I Know this is very frustrating and easy to fix. Im still trying to learn, so please forgive me

I guess what I am asking more clearly is, Where can I access the program line to change that?

Go to the heaters outlet configuration and change it there

Is that on the dashboard. Then click on the little wheel cog by the heater for the outlet it is on?
If thats the case it is not showing up.

I feel immensely unintelligent or frustrated. I dont understand why I cant find the location to have the ablitly to change the code....

Don't feel too bad, we've all had times like this when trying to figure out how to make the Apex do what we want.

Go to the Inputs page. Look at everything of type Temp. Click on the old temp probe and disable it, upload. Go back to the Inputs page. Click on the new temp probe, rename it and enable it if its disabled, upload. Now make sure that the correct name representing the new probe is referenced in your various programming code stacks.

If in Thermostat mode, select from the drop down then click on upper right

    If in Advanced mode,
Change the name to match your probe name then click on upper right.

This picture! I did not understand that when you click control type there was a advanced option so you could write your own code. This is what I was looking for the whole time. I somehow read through them all and didn't read the top option for advanced. I really do appreciate your guys time in reading this and trying to help me out! I greatly appreciate it, and cant wait till I am knowledgeable and can pass the information along to other reefers!
