Exclamation APEX dumped 200ml of Alkalinity into my tank as opposed to 2ml

I woke up and checked my Alkatronic and saw the dKh was increasing slightly so I wanted to drop the dosage back from 2.2ml to 2 ml, 12 times a day. It was around 07:55 with the next alkalinity dosage due at 08:00.

The iPhone has a small screen and the 'setting' icon is within millimetres of the 'ON' icon (not a great system layout if you ask me!) As I selected the 'setting' icon I inadvertently clicked the 'ON' icon. I realised it immediately and set it back to 'auto'. I then set the dosage to the 2ml that I wanted and uploaded the data

The next thing I know is my ph has skyrocketed and the DOS has dumped 200ml into the tank.

I at no stage selected 200ml.

Make sure it's actually back in AUTO. Sometimes when communications are spotty it will just slide back to the previous location.

Keep an eye on it. Most importantly, how are the animals in your tank?

I realised the problem within a hour of it happening and immediately removed as many of the corals and rocks to my quarantine tank. I then drained down the main tank as far as i dared whilst still allowing room for the fish to still move. The remaining rocks and corals were on their sides and covered in wet kitchen roll. I then added 50 litres of fresh salt water, removed the 50 litres 15 mins later so as to dilute the remaining water. I then refilled the tank over the next 8 hours!

I guess I will see over the next few weeks if the tank survives.
