    DOS speed

Hey all, I just hooked up my DOS to perform AWC’s and was curious if there is different speeds on the pump? I am only changing 1 gal every 24 hrs and it barely drips out of the tube. I see some guys on here doing 7 gal/day and the pump would almost have to run continuously. Mine kicks on for about 3 minutes every 15 minutes just doing 1 gal. I’m just hoping there is a way to speed it up......the sound of this thing every 15 sucks. Thanks

It adjusts the speed depending on how much water and the timeframe you have setup. I do 3 gallons in 10 hrs. It runs at a decent pace to manage it.

There's a limit for how fast they can spin. I'm not sure what it is but I'm guessing the software will only let you set it so high. Also running them at higher rpms is louder.

Yes. If you click on the gear button for a schedule interval then choose Interval Summary, it will tell you all kinds of good info, such as how often it will run, how much per individual dose, and the dosing rate (pump speed) which will be used.

How do I get it to run faster and less often? It runs at 60ml/hr every 10 min for 7 hrs

When you use the DŌS wizard, it automatically calculates and uses the slowest pump speed possible to move the specified volume of water in the specified timeframe. If you use a shorter period of time, it will result in the DŌS pumping at some mix of higher speed and/or a shorter period of time in between individual doses.

Yeah it will have a pop up window and let you know that there isnt enough time to do what you have set up. I have had it do that a couple of times with me.
