New Apex coming...have a couple of questions

So...I'm planning on buying an Apex soon and I have a couple of questions.

1: Are the 24 volt outputs on the energy bar variable? If not can I some how control a 24 volt DC pump?

2: I am currently supplementing my t-5s with the older ecoxotic stunner strips, I am using ecoxotics simple controller for sunset /sunrise. Is there a way using the vdm to eliminate the ecoxotic controller and run the stunner strips the same way?

    Thanks....first of probably many questions

    1. No. They are not variable. They are just ON/OFF 30W max.

    2. I don't know enough about the stunner strips to give you exact details, but you would either need to replace the drivers with 0-10V compatible ones, interface directly if it has 0-10V already, or use a 0-10V to PWM converter if it has PWM drivers. Its rarely easy to make lights apex ready, but it's almost always possible.

Thanks, that's pretty much that answer I was expecting. I guess I will keep running the pump controller that came with the pump and just do on and off with the leds

The DC24 outputs are ON/OFF only

Stunners are not dimmable with the variable/0-10v outputs if using the stock power source. If I recall correctly, you can use a Meanwell ELN-series 24v driver with Stunners, which involves a bunch of DIY. OTOH, I could be wrong - I might be thinking of the Ecoxotic Panorama series. TBH, Stunners are fairly old. I'd look at the ReefBrite LumiLite or XHO strips, which have an Apex-ready option http://www.reefbrite.com/product/led-line-dimmer/
