    EB8 Relay Outlets

I'm familiar with the differences between the Triac outlets and the relay outlets on my EB8. My problem is that I have three devices that may, or may not, need to be plugged into the relay outlets.

There are two BRS 1.1ml dosing pumps, which I'm pretty sure need to be plugged into the relay outlets. The other devices is an Avast Marine Works ATO pump (Diaphragm). The specs show 2w min, 4w max for the draw.

Any thoughts? The last thing I want is any one of these three devices getting stuck in the ON position, all of which would be detrimental.

    It's this one:

BRS dosing pumps definitely must not be plugged into EB8 TRIAC outlets. I don’t know about the Avast pump. Try it. Plug it in to a TRIAC outlet and see if it stops when the slider if OFF. If it does shut off, cycle it on and off at least 5 more times. If it turns off *every* time, then you should be good to go.

Let's say I was a little too hesitant to use it even if it appears to be alright. I'm just way to worried that it would lock on an flood my house. I'm assuming the only way to get around it would be to purchase either an EB4 or an EB8?

You can get an outlet splitter and hook up both the pump and a resistive load such as a nite-light or small heater on the same outlet.
