    Advanced COR20 feed programming question

I have set up my CORs. I did not do the IQ level as I want them to run at 45% all the time, and have set that in the schedule. I am using a feed button and, on classic i used this code for the virtual outlet feedpb

    If feed closed then on
    Min time 010:00 then on

And this for the controlled outlets

If output feedpb = on then off

Can I use the same code in the COR20 advanced section to control the COR? Can i use that to set a speed, like

If output feedpb = on then 15

Id prefer not to hassle with the IQ setting as I know what I want it set at and Ive read tales of the IQ level setting reverting after power outage. Thanks for any help!!!

    Advanced COR20 feed programming question

    Yes

If Output “Name of Output” = On Then “Value” is correct for changing the CORs speed based on another condition being true.

You can also use standard feed modes like this.

    If FeedA 000 Then 15
Change your settings on the feed mode to be your length of 10 minutes.

I’d use the IQ feature. It’s pretty slick. I’ve been running a COR15 for over a year and never had it reset due to a power issue.

The way most people handle that is to use a VO to control your pumps and outlets and then trigger the VO on the feed mode.
That way you get the best of both worlds.
If you search for feed mode stuff there are multiple examples.

I just installed a COR 20 along with a new Apex system after years of being accustomed to the Reefkeeper so I'm at the beginning of the learning curve.

I set up the pump as my main return pump, setting the entire range of the schedule at 80% on the wizard.

Does the wizard automatically factor the feed modes in? If not, if I code the feed modes in the advanced settings - do I just add the feed parameters and let the wizard handle the settings or would I have to program everything in advanced mode?

Run the Task. You should set the IQ level and the schedule should be at 100%.
