    Is this DOS noise normal?

https://i.imgur.com/xn7Wi7n.mp4I bought a new DOS for auto water change. It is set up for 3.7 gallons per day, so it runs slow coming on every 12 minutes. I have been running for 2 weeks.

It is in the garage but surprisingly loud. It doesn’t bother me due to its location but I cannot imagine if it water under the stand.

My main question is....is the sound normal? I want to be sure there is nothing wrong with the pumps. There is a ticking/cracking sound as they run and the motors have quite a whine. See video

Yours doesn't sound as loud as mine when it's doing water changes. Glad I put it in the garage.
