    Unhappy New apex setup help

Just started setting up my new apex el and when I got down to the ph calibration setup i placed my iPad down because it was taking awhile left out the room came back to my four year old swiping and scrolling
now I can’t get back in to apexlocal To see my dashboard
I setup and account with apex fusion but my apex isn’t linked to it so that didn’t help
How do I get back into apexlocal to finish setting it up
Apex #### isn’t even showing up in my WiFi

I assume you are trying to get to it by going to http://apex.local? Do you know what the IP address is? I can't get apex.local to work most of the time, its not an Apex issue it's a local DNS issue with your router. If you can, try logging into your router and check to see what IP it has assigned to the Apex.

The firmware update tool available on the Neptune Systems website is able to find Apex units on your local network and give you the IP, but it is made for the older version of the Apex, so I'm not sure if it will work on the EL, bu tit may be worth a try.

I would recommend turning off DHCP once you are abl eto get back into it and give it a static IP address so that you always know what it is.

If you have renamed your Apex system, the Local dashboard will now be at "newname.local". Even if you used some upper case letters in the name, all lower case will work.

The alternate way to access Apex local is just to enter the IP address on your local network. You can usually find this in your router config page, under something like 'Attached devices'. Might have a non-obvious name.

A third way is to download and run the Apex browse utility and see if it detects it and launches your local Apex interface in a browser window:

Apex Browse utility... didn't realize that was a thing, that is what I would use to figure out the IP.
