    Apex Pressure Sensor Lighting

Does anyone know if you can hook up a pressure sensor to the door of a cabinet so an under cabinet light comes on when you open the door? Not sure if there is a way of wiring a simple pressure switch or sensor to the apex and coding it to turn on a power outlet?

Magnetic door/windows security system switches are typically used for this.

How would you connect this to an apex? Sorry I’m new to the whole apex system, still learning

The break out box is what you'd use. It's a box that connects to your Apex and allows you to connect switches and other dry-contact closures.

Oh ok, so would I connect the individual magnetic sensors to the break out box and then code to turn the relevant power socket on or off?

Exactly. Each contact on the BoB shows up as a switch in Fusion. So in your outlet of the light you'd like to turn off, you'd have something like "If Sw1 is OPEN then ON"
