    calibrate for AWC?

hey all. so i know in the task menu, you can calibrate, and you can setup AWC.

but if you calibrate your dos, then you setup awc (tubes gotta move), you will introduce air into tubing?

i will be setting up a new dos strictly for AWC today, and would love advice on how to correctly calibrate before using the AWC task.

Use the prime buttons to remove all air from the lines before calibrating.

I would arrange your tubing so that when the heads run forward they suck water the correct way. The recommendation in the manual to have one add and one remove is bad IMO because you can't prime with the buttons or calibrate easily unless they are both moving in the forward direction.

    exactly.

so set them up the same way dosing works, calibrate...then switch back? the AWC task is going to assume they are backwards tho?

    ugh, im super confused now.

If the task gave you reverse, just edit it to be forward and then you won't have to move tubing around ever again.
