Can a flow meter with the FMM be used to program by volume

Can a flow meter with the FMM be used to program by volume. Example, I want to turn an outlet on until the flow meter calculates 5 gallons. If I know flow is 1 gallon a minute I could just turn on for 5 minutes, but I want to assume a variable rate. I want to fill a 5 gallon jug. I want the outlet to turn on pump until the flow meter says okay that is 5 gallons now shut off. Is this doable?

Nope. The Apex does not have the ability.
