    Likely Answered, but...Echo versus Fire

I have an Echo that I would like to run my tank vice a tablet. Is that possible? I would like Alexa from the Echo to tell fusion to take steps. Thanks

Yes, you have to setup voice aliases within Fusion though.

I guess I need more clarification of your question. So you have both a tablet (Kindle Fire?) and an Amazon Echo, and you want to use both of them to control your Apex?

You need to enable the Apex Fusion Alexa Skill on your amazon account to use voice commands (https://www.amazon.com/Neptune-Syste.../dp/B07J1F2V8W).
Then go to Voice Setup in Fusion....

A good place to start would be to read this FAQ...

I have both a Kindle Fire and a Echo Dot.... the voice commands are nice, but I find actually having a visible interface much easier.

thanks so much for the quick replies! Makes me more likely to purchase an Apex. I have an Echo Show, so it has the screen as well as the Alexa capability

That should wok very well. I actually have a Kindle Fire HD 7 and 8 mounted above my computer monitor. One displays the Apex on my main tank and the other displays my Apex Jr. on my small desktop tank.

I interned at Amazon last summer so I have several Fire tablets, but also have the Show and I like it. Not sure the difference on screen sizes. I don't even have an Apex yet. I'm upgrading from a 75 to a 105 this weekend and that's really tempting me to get one

Well i can tell you that the HD 7 supports 3 columns of data in Apex Fusion while the HD 8 only supports two. It has something to do with Amazon misreporting the number of pixels on the HD 8 screen when it is in landscape mode.

The Show's screen does not add any value as far as the Apex & APEX Fusion goes. It cannot display APEX Fusion.

I thought that Amazon implemented a web browser for the Show late last year. You should be able to bring up Fusion on it.

I thought that was only for the new(er) Show Gen 2 with the bigger display, but I was mistaken. Just tried it on my Gen 1 Show, and it works

    Fire Tablet and Fusion

I tried to download/install Dolphin on my Fire per Terrance's 2016 video and it didn't work. I'm about to get an Apex and I want to use a Fire tablet with Fusion. Do I need to do something with another browser?

    TIA

The Silk browser on the Kindle Fire now supports hiding the address bar so you don't need the dolphin browser.

I believe there is still an app for Android... but on my iPhone I just have a link on my home screen that goes directly to the website... and I just have it bookmarked on my kindle.
