    Apex 2016 and apex classic

I have a 2016 apex on my reef in den and an going to set up a nano in the upstairs bedroom and want to "control" nano with apex. I can score a great deal on a used classic controller right now that would be cheaper than purchasing the modules I would need on the nano. My real question is is it possible to connect the classic to the 2016 as a "module" using the aquabus or will there be functioning issues ? I know theres really no need to do it this way as it could just be 2 stand alone separate systems or I could just buck up and purchase the modules I need and connect that way all on one apex system. if this is confusing im sorry I tried to explain it as best as possible. thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Nope. Only one brain per aquabus. Just run them as completely seperate systems.

Thanks. I know there’s really no advantage to doing it that way. It was more of a curiosity question.
