    Ruined probes?

I am now setting up a new aquarium and all associated systems. this includes all the APEX equipment. I bought the Classic system four years ago but never set it up.

The pH and ORP probes are completely dried out. Should I bother testing them or should I just go ahead and purchase replacements?

    Thanks.

Sometimes it works but if they have been dry that long they are probably trash by now. You can try rehydrating them for a week and see if they will calibrate and respond to changes.

Thanks Zombie, I am going to order new set and not waste hours experimenting.
