Salinity Probe Calibration "Out of Range"

I am trying to calibrate two salinity probes in two side-by-side raceways. I took both probes out, rinsed them off in RO water, and patted them dry and gently blew out the water and started trying to auto-calibrate after five minutes. They always "Settle" but they never change from "Out of Range". Due to the BRS video which said to let them dry for up to two hours, I kept starting the auto-calibrate every few minutes, for 1.5 hours. Neither of them ever changed from a red X to a green Check Mark. Any advice as to a next step will be greatly appreciated!
