DOS topoff setup: using second doser as auxiliary topoff using same line to tank

Since the head pressure isn’t great is there any reason I can’t put a “T” in my feed line below the DOS and run the second doser into it? Either to share the load for regular interval dosing or to serve as topoff to adjust for variance?

I cannot without difficult run a second line.

The DOS has an extreme amount of head pressure capability. It can handle 24 feet of vertical head and line length makes almost no difference.

What exactly is the issue that you are having?

No Issue … was just being overly cautious. Essentially pushing both dosers through the same single output. (I am having an issue I started a separate thread for)

    Hi there,

Sorry for posting it here (can't create a new thread - an error occurs all the time). How can I use an extra DOS? I'm not a tech guy at all. Found some older threads on Reef2Reef and ReefCentral. But in vain.

Maybe I'm not understanding the question.
To add another DOS, you plug the Aquabus cable into the DOS and the other end into any available Aquabus port in the system. Then you plug in the power supply to the DOS.
Now you just need to program it and possibly update it.

You just add it like you did the first one. You can use multiple of any Neptune module.
